Team Summertime

This project initially started through fan art shared on Reddit. After seeing the work, Davis "Hitch" Edwards reached out to me and asked to create official merchandise designs for Team Summertime, as well as an 'iconic' moment titled "Eat the Banana".

The goal was to create a design that matched the style of the designs I first shared online - a clean, minimalistic style that showed each member of the team.

After sharing the initial concept, my client and I were starting to align the vision and start to land on a final design. This then allowed me to work towards cleaning up the work, ensuring all linework were smooth and simplifying details.

Although the merchandise was never officially produced, this project remains a highlight in my creative journey. It was a unique opportunity to turn a fan moment into a full-fledged design.

Meatballs

This project was a logo design commission for a short comedy film titled "Meatballs", directed by a friend of a friend who reached out after seeing my work. The final logos appear at the end of the film in the credits, which you can watch on YouTube here.

The initial brief set by the director was a logo for a 'stylized comedy' which would match the film and fit within a gold and red colour scheme.

I created the logo within Adobe Illustrator, exploring a selection of typography before landing on a final style. This process involved close collaboration with the director, who had a clear vision.
This back-and-forth approach - while detailed - helped refine the final result and ensure it met the directors original idea.

The logo was delivered in time for the film's release and appears in the final credits. This project was a great opportunity to work towards a specific brief, helped with creative direction.

Nova Bloom

This project was a commission piece for Nova Bloom, an indie band from the West Midlands. They had requested a logo for their band, along with an astronaught design to follow their space theme.

I explored several designs, experimenting with how each band member's instrument could be incorporated into their own character. The idea was to have visual differences between the spacemen, making sure they could be identifiable with each member.

I enjoyed the creative freedom that this project presented me. It gave me a chance to experiment with character design and giving an identity to the band themselves.

Parrott Pianos

For this commission project, I developed an identity for a small family-run piano business. The work included creating a logo and later on developing a promotional flyer. I used Adobe Illustrator for both of these projects.

Concert Poster

This was a poster design put together for a local concert, featuring several artists. I was asked to create the promotional artwork for the show. I was not tasked with a brief for this, so I was about to approach the project with complete creative freedom. I was able to experiment with colours and layout.

Prom Poster

The poster was designed for my College Prom. My form tutor had asked me to create the promotional artwork for the event, which was there place around the building. I was given the key details, and then had creative freedom to approach it how I wanted.

The original concept was to include a traditional tuxedo and dress. But to ensure the poster was appropriate, and respectful for everyone, I chose two create two additional versions.

Harizon

This project was a commission for a local independent music artist, who needed to build up an identity from the ground up.

Along with a logo, the client was also looking for a promotional poster to advertise a show he was hosting. There were no directions given for either request, so I took the lead and developed a range of options.

Certificate

This was a small passion project I created for my local darts team, where I serve as both captain secretary. At the end of the season, I held a small awards night, where I created custom certificates for each player of the team.

Together Apart

As part of my University course, in a module named "Developing Interactive Media", I was tasked to create a piece of interactive media and document its development from start to finish.
I chose to create a 2D multiplayer puzzle platformer using GameMaker Studio 2.

The game was designed for two players, who would play on the same keyboard. The layout of the game had two pathways in which either players actions would affect the others. This was all built from scratch within GameMaker

The module also require full documentation of the development process. This helped me build a solid workflow, allowing me to have a clear direction from the start.
I received a 73% grade for this module.

3D Animation

This college assignment was to learn and understand the process of 3D modelling and animation from start to finish. The brief being to create an animated scene in a custom environment.

For this task, I chose to recreate a scene from Home Alone 2, using LEGO as my theming. I used Autodesk Maya to model and animate scene. All models were made by me.
This project earned me full marks.

2D Animation

For this college project, we were tasked with making a 2D animated promotional video for a product or service. I chose to create a short advert for my Dad's business.

The video was created using Adobe After Effects. I developed all the visuals myself, including the typography, transitions and animations
The final video earned me full marks on the module.
